Organizations.
Leadership is creative work.
CREATE IS A PARTICIPATORY LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS PEOPLE REDISCOVER THEMSELVES AS CREATORS — STRENGTHENING CONNECTION, CREATIVITY, AND CULTURE.
the belief
Every day, leaders create—culture, conversations, decisions, teams, trust.
Yet much of leadership development focuses on acquiring knowledge rather than practicing the human capacities exceptional leadership requires: curiosity, adaptability, creativity, presence, and connection.
CREATE is a participatory leadership experience where leaders don’t simply discuss these capacities—they practice them through creation.
Leaders slow down, engage differently, and exercise the very skills they rely on every day.
Because the future belongs to organizations that don’t just solve problems—they cultivate creators.
why it matters
-
Teams do their best work when people feel safe enough to contribute an unfinished idea, ask a question, disagree, experiment, or admit they don’t know.
Creative participation gives leaders a low-stakes place to practice exactly that: making choices without knowing the outcome, sharing something they created, responding to others, and taking small interpersonal risks.
Research informed by Amy Edmondson’s work on psychological safety.
-
Creativity isn’t reserved for artists. It’s the ability to imagine alternatives, make connections, experiment, and respond when the answer isn’t obvious.
Participatory creation moves leaders out of problem-solving on autopilot and into a different mode: trying, noticing, adapting, and discovering what happens next.
Informed by research on creativity, adaptability, and innovation.
-
We learn differently when we actually do something.
Rather than hearing about curiosity, collaboration, or adaptability, participants encounter those skills in real time—making choices, responding to uncertainty, working with others, and reflecting on what happened.
The experience becomes something they can feel and remember, not just something they were told.
Informed by David Kolb’s work on experiential learning.
-
Thinking doesn’t happen only in the head. Movement, sensation, environment, and physical interaction all shape how we process information and make meaning.
CREATE brings the hands and body into the learning experience. Leaders move, make, notice, and respond—opening different pathways for insight than conversation alone.
Informed by research on embodied cognition.
-
Attention and memory are strengthened when learning is active, novel, emotionally engaging, and participatory.
CREATE intentionally interrupts the ordinary workday. The unfamiliarity of making something, the sensory experience, and the shared moment help make the learning more memorable—and easier to carry back into everyday work.
Informed by research on active learning, attention, and memory.
CREATE
I developed the CREATE framework as a way to move people through curiosity, reflection, expression, and shared creation—turning insight into something they can actually experience, practice, and carry forward.
Big Ideas,
Real Impact.
Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is where bold thinking meets thoughtful execution. Let’s create something meaningful together.
WHAT’S POSSIBLE
Leadership,
made visible.
Each experience is co-created around the organization's people, purpose, goals, and moment.
