Why wouldn't you want to wear art? It’s art! From fun hair clips and painted purses, to acrylic jewelry and beyond— what we wear can communicate our vibe without words. It sets a tone, can start a conversation, and can even spark a connection. The form will evolve, but wearable art will always be a part of my identity.

My obsession with resin began a few years ago. I started experimenting and made a pair of sparkly ghost earrings for Halloween. It was just after we’d emerged from full lockdown, and I remember walking down the street when a complete stranger—a grown man—stopped me to say how fun they were and how much joy they brought him. That moment stuck with me. A tiny, unexpected spark of connection at a time when we were all starved for it.
I dove in headfirst. I’ve always loved a holiday, so naturally what followed was a flood of festive joy—holly berries, hearts, trees, clovers, sprinkles, and more. I began teaching parent-and-kid resin classes, gifting pieces to friends, and selling them too.
They made people smile. They were joyful. And they were art you could wear. I still make them sometimes. If you’d like, I’ll make some for you.
Resin Jewelry
When I moved into the second Rainbow space, I finally had room to bring my wild, freeform art experiences to life. Mara and I hosted one with a few friends and it was pure magic. The piece we created was bold, bright, and joyful—but we needed a way to share it.
That’s when the idea for pouches was born. Fresh from a sewing class (which I had zero interest in at the time), Mara turned our collaborative artwork into fun, functional pieces with meaning and vibe.
Since then, I’ve caught the sewing bug myself. I now paint and sew pouches, purses, keychains, and more—and offer it as a creative, hands-on option for group paint experiences. It’s a joyful way to turn shared art into something useful and lasting.
