ICONIC is a new collaboration between Nicole Zappala of NicZapArt and Hanna Daly of Hanna’s Murals, built on contrast — raw abstract energy meets expert muralist wonder.
Nicole’s background draws from her art therapy work: intuitive, emotional, and raw. Years of using painting as a tool for expression show up in every dynamic layer — acrylic, spray paint, mixed media — color and texture piled up, woven with energy and subtle meaning.
Hanna anchors that energy with decades of mural-making experience. She’s painted over 1,500 murals since founding Hanna’s Murals in 2004, working across public spaces, homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses throughout California.
Hanna brings her fun, authentic energy and attention to detail to the collab. For the first release, she dropped in the California Tower in Balboa Park, rendered with the clean lines and structure she’s known for.
The result is a piece that feels both local and unique — a San Diego landmark reimagined.
