MAKE Turns Three ✨- March MAKE

$45.00

This month, MAKE is three years old.

Three years of glitter-dusted tables. Of strangers becoming friends. Of people walking in unsure and leaving with paint on their hands and something softer in their chest. Three years of choosing process over perfection — together.

To celebrate, we’re doing something we’ve never done before:

We’re repeating an experience.

The very first MAKE gathering invited you to create a clay self-portrait magnet — a tiny, tender version of yourself shaped by your own hands. It felt only right to return to that beginning.

This time, we’ll gather around the table again, rolling and pressing clay, shaping faces (realistic or wildly symbolic), adding texture, color, expression. Who are you now? What feels worth showing? What wants to be seen?

There’s something quietly powerful about making your own image. In art therapy, self-portraiture is less about likeness and more about relationship. It invites reflection without overthinking. It allows us to externalize what’s internal. To witness ourselves with curiosity instead of critique. To say: I’m here. I count. I’m still becoming.

These small clay magnets become little anchors — reminders on the fridge or workspace that you are allowed to take up space, evolve, soften, play.

This is the only time we’ve ever repeated a MAKE. Not because we ran out of ideas (HA) — but because beginnings matter. Because looking back can be its own kind of forward movement. Because three years in, it feels so powerful to ask: who were you then, and who are you now?

Come celebrate.
Come make yourself.
Again. 💛
