Art you can live in, move through, and take home

Nicole Zappala is a San Diego-based artist who is all about brightening spaces and shifting awareness with colorful art and meaningful experiences. Her spectrum of creative work is wide—ranging from original artworks to wearable pieces like attention-shifting jewelry and hand-painted and sewn purses, as well as experiential offerings such as art classes and private painting sessions.

At the heart of it all is a desire to connect and feel seen—through play, emotion, and presence. Whether it’s a canvas, a handbag, a mural, or a moment, Nicole’s work invites people to slow down, look closer, and feel more. She creates because she has to—because making is how she processes the world, celebrates it, and sometimes makes sense of it.

Every piece she shares, sells, or sets in motion is made with intention, joy, and a deep belief that art belongs in every corner of our lives.

Experiences

I want my art to live on and off the canvas. Through paint, experiences, design, and community, I do my best to bring creative energy to everything I make and curate.

The Rainbow

An art studio and experience in North Park.

A colorful building with murals and street art, featuring a prominent painting of eyes crying blue water. The building has a vintage architectural style with a red-tiled roof and large windows. The art includes vibrant designs and various tags. A street lamp is visible in front of the building.
